Dr. Friedrich Hörtkorn was an entrepreneurial personality in the best sense of the word. Ever since the company was founded as an independent insurance broker in Heilbronn in 1966, his goal was to be more innovative and better than his competitors in order to gain satisfied customers in the long term. His principle still applies today. We have been offering our customers professional and independent advice for individual insurance solutions and risk management for over 50 years.

Over the years, the company has grown steadily. The small Heilbronn ‘start-up’ developed into an internationally active group of companies, which today represents the interests of its customers with over 220 employees. In the course of time, further branches were established throughout Germany. Since 2004, the Hörtkorn Group has been a member of UNIBA Partners, an international network with locations and involvement in over 160 countries.

The fields of activity have developed over the years. While the advisory services increasingly focused on business clients, the range of services was steadily expanded. Company pension schemes, credit insurance, factoring and risk management consulting were added to the actual core business. From 1994 until his death on 5 March 2020, company founder Dr. Hörtkorn shared the management of the company with his son Christian Hörtkorn.
