Health insurance for foreign guests

Health insurance is compulsory for foreign guests in Germany, regardless of whether they come from a country whose citizens have to apply for a visa or may enter without a visa. The health insurance policies must meet minimum requirements, e.g. a sum insured of at least EUR 30,000. After concluding the contract, you will receive an email that serves as proof for the application to the consulate or embassy. As the policyholder, you can put together the necessary health insurance cover for your guest individually via our partner ‘Covomo Versicherungsvergleich GmbH’.
