Oberst Schöttler Versehrten-Stiftung
The Oberst Schöttler Versehrten-Stiftung (Colonel Schöttler Foundation for the Disabled) received one of our Christmas donations for the years 2019 to 2022. The trigger for the establishment of the foundation in 2007 was the attack on soldiers of the German Armed Forces in Kabul on 14 November 2005. One reservist was killed in the attack and two soldiers were critically wounded.
The foundation supports soldiers, police officers and full-time and voluntary helpers from non-governmental organisations who have been wounded or injured during foreign missions and suffer from permanent consequential damage.
