The Hörtkorn Group is supporting LebensWerkstatt with €5,000 towards the purchase of a wheelchair bus for the LebensWerkstatt home in Heilbronn’s Nordstraße. “The donation helps us a lot,” emphasizes CEO Friedemann Manz, ”because mobility is an important basis for participation.”
Aktion Mensch is covering part of the purchase costs for the minibus with wheelchair conversion. The donation from the Hörtkorn Group helps to raise the necessary personal contribution. “Together we can achieve great things,” says Managing Director Christian Hörtkorn with conviction. “It is important to us to be socially involved locally in Heilbronn,” he explains. “We are delighted to be able to contribute to ensuring that people with extensive disabilities are mobile and able to participate.”

LebensWerkstatt is a social welfare organization for people with disabilities in the Heilbronn-Franken region. It is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can live, live and work in the heart of society – as a matter of course and in the way they want to. Around 1,400 people with disabilities make use of the more than 40 services offered by LebensWerkstatt in the region and are supported in participating in social life in a self-determined way.
