The Hörtkorn Group is donating €5,000 to support the garden design at the LebensWerkstatt support group building in Lämlinstraße. “This helps us a lot,” emphasizes CEO Friedemann Manz, “because we are starting a project there in 2024 that requires major investment.”
The diaconal social enterprise is building a new workshop for people with disabilities in the Haselter industrial estate, in the immediate vicinity of the existing support group building. As part of the new workshop building, this will be renovated to make it more energy-efficient and will have a new outdoor area with seating, a swing and raised beds. “It is important to us to be socially involved locally in Heilbronn,” explains Managing Director Christian Hörtkorn. “We are delighted that we can contribute to providing people with extensive disabilities with stimulating and beneficial nature and exercise opportunities.”
