With a pre-Christmas donation of €5,000, the Hörtkorn Group is supporting the LebensWerkstatt project “Support Group in the Workshop.”
To make the transition from working life to retirement easier for people with disabilities, LebensWerkstatt is setting up a support group for seniors at its Böckingen location. “A slow transition into this new phase of life is particularly important for our clients. The donation is a big step forward for our project,” said CEO Friedemann Manz, expressing his gratitude at the symbolic check presentation. “It is important to us to be socially involved in the Heilbronn area,” explained Managing Director Christian Hörtkorn. “We are delighted to be able to help ensure that people with disabilities receive the support they need to live independently.”
The new support group in the workshop meets the greater need for breaks and higher level of support that comes with advancing age, while at the same time maintaining contact with colleagues in the familiar environment. Seven employees with disabilities will take advantage of the offer in the new year.
